Cinda International Holdings Limited (ﾓCinda Internationalﾔ, stock code: 111) is a financial institution. It has developed as a comprehensive financial group, fund management, insurance, asset management, futures, actively involved in securities, leasing and property development business. China Cinda has successfully completed its strategic transformation into a commercialized corporation and operation in non-performing assets remains its core business. The Ministry of Finance (The ﾓMOFﾔ) held the balance 83.46% in China Cinda. In 2012, UBS AG, namely National Social Security Fund of the Peopleﾒs Republic of China (the ﾓPRCﾔ), China Cinda introduced four strategic investors, CITIC Capital Holdings Limited and Standard Chartered Financial Holdings which collectively held 16.54% of the shares in China Cinda. The non-performing assets originated from different financial institutions, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, Bank of China, China Construction Bank, China Development Bank, inter alia, Bank of Communications and Shanghai Bank. As the first financial institution in China engaged in management and disposal of non-performing assets, the accumulated book value of non-performing assets acquired and dealt with exceeded RMB1, 300 billion. Cinda International is controlled by Well Kent International Investment Company Limited which is a wholly-owned subsidiary of China Cinda Asset Management Co., Ltd. (ﾓChina Cindaﾔ).The predecessor of China Cinda is China Cinda Asset Management Corporation which was established on 20 April 1999. The offices of China Cinda are located in 30 major cities of the PRC.
